The United Reformed Churches of Elmwood and St John’s

(part of the Warrington Pastorate)

seeks to appoint a Church Community Worker



Salary: £10,668 per annum

Part time post 15 hours per week

We are looking for someone


  • who will support the congregations of Elmwood URC and St John’s URC in their developing partnerships and relationships with their local communities.

  • who will be responsible for developing community initiatives centring around a community garden and a community café

  • who is sympathetic to the work of the Synod and its Christian ethos


The post holder will have a base at both churches but will be expected to work out in the community and by agreement will work from home when appropriate.
