Due to the current deteriorating and rapidly changing COVID-19 situation, we have made the difficult decision to move back to Zoom worship from this Sunday (19th December) onwards, taking account of the very rapid increase in cases, the high transmissibility of the new variant, and the concerns people had about contracting COVID-19 so close to Christmas.
We know that this is a real disappointment - we had very much been enjoying the services back in the Church, and it is not a decision we made lightly. Once Christmas is over we will review this on a very regular basis with the intention of moving back into the Church for in-person/hybrid services as soon as we feel the risk has reduced to an acceptable level.
Zoom codes for the Christmas services can be obtained by e-mail from firstname.lastname@example.org

WELCOMING YOU HOME
St John’s URC is a lively inclusive Church for people of all ages and backgrounds. We have regular Sunday worship as well as various activities throughout the week. We also have social events from time to time such as quiz nights, pantomime, concerts etc.
ABOUT OUR CHURCH
Part of the family of United Reformed Churches, St John's is an inclusive, friendly and lively church situated on Wilderspool Causeway, Warrington.
During Sunday Morning worship our younger members of the congregation meet separately to discover more about the worship theme of the day.
Our weekly service of worship is for all the family. Worship takes place together in the church sanctuary, with the children and young people leaving part way through to share their own activities.
