In October 2025 we will be opening the Causeway Community Cafe in our halls. This will initially be for one day a week. 

 

Our goal is to support our Wilderspool (and beyond) community. We want to provide an inclusive, relaxing, neighbourhood centred meeting place. a space where everyone is welcome, can meet other people, and feel safe. We will provide reasonably priced good quality refreshments, fellowship, books, and conversations. Some customers may be lonely and vulnerable, and they will need to be received with sympathy and appropriate care with possible signposting to other organisations. We will host regular special sessions e.g. Dementia café sessions, craft, chair based exercise. We want it to be eco- and fair-trade friendly. It will be a place where young adults with learning difficulties can thrive in a work based environment.
